COSCO applied local materials, including Austin cut-stone and exposed cedar, to a custom-designed Ceco Buildings Systems steel structure, which provided a fast and efficient erection. The new church building was also designed to be a “green” facility, using an enormous rainwater collection tank to meet the water needs of the congregation.  The terrain of the new site was another construction challenge. It was comprised mostly of rock, which had to be moved in order to construct the new facility.
