Camp Minden Training Site in Minden, La., is a Louisiana National Guard military training facility. Located in northwest Louisiana, the original structure was over 70 years old and was decades past due to be updated. Plans were started for a new complex on 27 acres of the existing post. The new facilities would provide joint use for a transportation company, military police and Air Force support squadron. Camp Minden also serves as the Reception, Staging and Onward Integration for EMAC units during emergency response events. The main building is 78,281 square fee, and the vehicle maintenance building is 11,650 square feet.
