Giving Back to the Pantry of Broward

Giving Back to the Pantry of Broward

While at the 2018 National Builder Meeting, Ceco and our Builders were honored to help build for the future of locals by volunteering and collecting non-perishables for the Pantry of Broward. We geared up for this contribution by visiting a local grocery store in Broward County and went shopping! In under 20 minutes, our team purchased more than $1,000 in non-perishables for the Pantry. Ceco also gave back to the organization by hand delivering a check to help their efforts.

Liz McDonald, Ceco’s Operations Manager, spearheaded the event and had this to say about the efforts: “Collectively, we were able to contribute around $5,000 in non-perishable food and monetary donations to aid the Pantry of Broward in their mission to fight hunger. We were honored to welcome Maureen Luna, Pantry of Broward CEO, to our meeting and hear how their efforts are helping the local community. We at Ceco and our network of Builders believe in giving back and helping those in need, so we feel very fortunate to have been able to participate in the food drive.”
