Primary Steel Frame Systems Ceco’s primary steel frame system consists of interior building frames, building end frames (including rafters, corner posts and end posts), and crane systems. The primary frame system spans the width of a building to form the backbone of a metal building’s support structure. A symmetrical gabled frame is shown at left; single slope, lean-to and unsymmetrical frames are also available.

Secondary Steel Frame Systems Achieve a higher level of versatility in design and installation with Ceco’s secondary steel frame system. Ceco’s secondary structural framing system includes purlins, girts, eave struts, base members, flange bracing, gable angles, clips and more.

Building Bracing Ceco engineers design each metal building to withstand its specific wind or seismic load requirements using components from our extensive bracing system, which allows for diaphragm bracing, cable bracing, X bracing or portal frames.
