ABC Excellence in Construction

The North Alabama Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors presented its 2005 Excellence in Construction Awards to recognize commercial projects constructed by North Alabama and Southern Middle Tennessee contractors. The awards are given to exceptional projects that are examples of the best construction projects in this area.

Brindley Construction Group, LLC received awards in two categories, Pre-Engineered Metal Building under $2 million dollars for the Carroll County Industrial Speculative Building located in Huntington, Tennessee. This 84,000 sq. ft metal building was a collaborative effort of Carroll County, Tennessee, and Brindley Construction Group to place this rural West Tennessee County in a position to attract new industry with an attractive building ready for occupancy.

Receiving this award was Robert Brindley, Chairman of the Board of Brindley Construction Group, Randy Stanford, Project Manager, Tim Rohling, Project Superintendent and Tom Deberry, Regional Sales Manager of Ceco Metal Buildings.

Brindley also received the award for INstitutional Construction for the Addition and Renovation of the Christ our Savior Lutheran Church in Columbia, Tennessee. Working closely with the building committee of the church Brindley was able to bring the project in on budget while allowing the church to remain in their sanctuary for all services and maintain operation of their pre-school. Receiving this award was Ronnie Brindley and Kenneth Noah of Brindley Construction Group and Harold Buelow representing the Christ Our Savior Building Committee.
