John Scarbrough, President of Ceco Buildings, feels the acquisition of Ceco by NCI offers advantages to Ceco and its builders. NCI owns MBCI a very large manufacturer of metal building components including the long span joist system. This means that Ceco builders will have easier access to panels and other products not currently manufactured in Ceco plants.

NCI has stated that it plans to keep the current Ceco management team, the brand identity and most important its builder network in place. Overall, this acquisition should benefit Ceco, Ceco Builders and NCI.
